That is the safe thing to assume, but Banister has surprised us a few times before. I am not saying it is going to happen, I just think it should happen.

If we make the WS and Prince is still hitting like this then there is no way he should play 1B in a NL park.

That is hard to say. Hopefully, it doesn't come to that. I guess it might depend on how Hanser does between now and then. Either way they would need another third baseman though.

If Beltre was put on the DL, he wouldn't be eligible to return till the World Series. JD said they'd have to see his imaging and symptoms get a lot worse before considering that.

I think this may have been some of the best decision making I have seen from the Rangers in regards to the handling of pitching. I wanted to see the rotation be Gallardo, Hamels and then Perez. Also, if I have my choice to close out a game it would be Dyson. Gallardo could have pitched more as he threw just 79 pitches but Diekman did something that he just does not do for the Rangers and that was pitch 2 innings. They stuck with the hot reliever and were not robots where they automatically take him out after 1 inning.

My only thoughts have been the same thoughts I have had the entire season and that is when we face a LHer why doesn't Prince sit and Moreland play. Moreland is always the odd man out.
