Great win gentleman. I am so stoked. I didn't realize that all 23 or 25 ESPN contributors/experts chose Toronto to win. It would be even sweeter b/c other than Harold Reynolds nobody gives them any love.

I really do hate Rogers Centre field. And Beltre has always not liked playing on that turf since he hit the other side of 30.

He has to be back by game 3 for the Rangers to have a shot at the upset.

Toronto doesn't really impress me in a playoff series, not impressed with the pitching (minus Price), but 1 pitcher isn't going to get it done.

There was a divit in the dirt around 2nd base where Adrian slid and it looks like his back bore the brunt of it. Really no reason to slide there by the way but love the aggressiveness.

Kudos to Banister for being willing to think outside the box regarding the 9th inning pitching decision. I hope he can do the same regarding Prince. Prince needs to be moved down in the lineup and against lefties I would think he needs to be benched at this point.

I believe I heard that the exit velocity of Roogie's HR was 113MPH. I also heard that was the hardest ball he had hit all year.

This is really good news. We can afford to lose him for one game, and with Hamels on the mound maybe even win it. I don't see any way we can make a deep postseason run without him altogether. I'd think he'll be ok enough to go by Sunday.

Would like to see more than 5 hits per game but I'll take the win.
Rangers are automatic when Hamels pitches, so they'll be up 2-0 after tomorrow's game. I like it.

Could run into a fastball and dump one over the wall. If Beltre is really out for the series I don't see a better alternative.

Prince isn't getting benched.

That is the safe thing to assume, but Banister has surprised us a few times before. I am not saying it is going to happen, I just think it should happen.

If we make the WS and Prince is still hitting like this then there is no way he should play 1B in a NL park.
