I don’t give a fuck about 06. You can name Michigan retrospective champs if you wish.

Reality is UF won that season and Bama did in 2011. People can cry if they want or masturbate about it. But if you expect Bama fans to apologize it ain’t happening. I think the two best teams met for the championship.

The only issue I saw is that it was kind of fucked up that LSU had to beat Alabama twice to win the championship but Alabama only had to beat LSU once.

I didn't care for a rematch in the NC.

Rematches are usually anti-climactic and if both are close in strength, you usually end up with a split.

These teams were 1-1 vs. each other that season, but LSU doesn't get an NC because they lost the wrong game? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Having said that, now that we have some semblance of a playoff, I wouldn't mind if we ended up with a rematch in the NC quite as much because both teams would have had to win a playoff game to get there.

But voting for a rematch? No thank you.
