Part of me was afraid the Lakers were going to fuck this up. Glad to get this guy! I would have picked him over Simmons
Nope Hibbert will not be starting. Now the Lakers starting line up win or lose should look like this
Clarkson - G
Russell - G
Randle - F
Ingram F
Hibbert - C - resign him for 6 to 8 million?
Simmons was not clear number one. He can't shoot like ingram. Sixes need shooters too. I am glade we got ingram.I don't know who is skinnier Ingram or Adam Silver
Ingram needs to fill out - he is only 18 so he should but dang he looked like Shawn Bradley going up there
Good pick for the Lakers
I am glad that Sixers didn't overthink it though and screw this up and pick Ingram over Simmons
Simmons was the clear cut #1 IMO
I wonder if Luke will let the new center start - I would - We might lose more games, but if all five starters are the new kids on the block - there is a better chance they can play together better by next year and build better chemistryNope Hibbert will not be starting.
You should still be afraid - it's never too late for Jim Buss to be a dumb assPart of me was afraid the Lakers were going to fuck this up. Glad to get this guy! I would have picked him over Simmons
Zubac is supposedly a good ball handler, can run the pick & roll, but struggles defending it.I wonder if Luke will let the new center start - I would - We might lose more games, but if all five starters are the new kids on the block - there is a better chance they can play together better by next year and build better chemistry

Sounds like a good fit, but I doubt if we sign Hibbert, Zu gets the nod to start.
They said that he would have drafted sooner, but disappeared in his last season, but has good skills. I think if you get Kareem and Worth as special coaches for the young man and he should be developed. The second round doesn't normally produce good players like the first round so nothing lost if he doesn't work outDon't really like the Zubac pick. He better play this year. Euro stash guys this late in the draft rarely if ever pan out. It's a totally wasted opportunity more often than not.

I agree. Only the Philly guy here said Simmons was clearly the #1 pick in this draft. That was nonsense.ESPN has him ranked higher than Simmons. They have some ranking system where they use several different stats to determine who is likely to perform at an all star level withing their first 5 years. In that ranking, they had Ingram #1.
