Zubac is bigger weight-wise than Thon Maker who went at 10. I like the Zubac pick and may just get nabbed as the starter. If Luke brings the Dubs offense, we may see Tariq Black as the starter at the 5.
While I agree with you Shaqdaddy, I hope you're wrong.Zubac isn't going to be a starter. He'll most likely play in the D-League or take Sacres spot on the bench
Don't really like the Zubac pick. He better play this year. Euro stash guys this late in the draft rarely if ever pan out. It's a totally wasted opportunity more often than not.

He was a projected first rounder that fell to the second round because he wanted to come over now, so he wasn't a good stash candidate. He's a huge Laker fan and is stoked to join the team. Supposedly the Lakers even had a soft promise to draft him if he fell to #32.
I'm OK with the pick, but have to admit I was getting pretty angry with the 4 picks directly before the Lakers taking all the guys I was watching slide lol (Skal Labissiere, Dejounte Murray, Damian Jones, Deyonta Davis). Then McCaw goes to the Bucks and sold to the Warriors....UGH!
I always approve of the other guy ahead of us being a dumb ass - Just saying - He did a good job drafting(for us of course)I agree. Only the Philly guy here said Simmons was clearly the #1 pick in this draft. That was nonsense.
I wanted Black to play alot more this season, but Scott apparently didn't want any part in that.
Same here ALR. Black always gives you his best effort every night and his defense isn't too shabby. His scoring needs a bit of work but he's not too far away. I think he'll grow even more with Luke's staff. We shall see.
Nope Hibbert will not be starting.
Now the Lakers starting line up win or lose should look like this
Clarkson - G
Russell - G
Randle - F
Ingram F
Hibbert - C - resign him for 6 to 8 million?
