Emerson, Lake & Palmer - 1977-1978 - can't remember.

Saw ELP in Baton Rouge in the seventies with all my Party Buddz ! It was during my college years which I still dont remember very well. We all were tripping on Shrooms and had just lit a couple of REAL" PANAMA RED" fatties when G. Lake came forward with that box, acoustic, 6 string. The lights dimmed, after a particular wild ass rendition of TARKUS and he made the ladies cry with "Still...You turn me on" !

I kid you not, he even made half the men at the show cry as well. The other half went queer before 1980!

Needless to say, we bought every box of tissue available at the Quick Mart and stole every roll of toilet paper we could get out of the ladies bathrooms!

The first concert I went to was The Roots (I don't remember the opening bands) back when 99X had free concerts up at Stone Mountain back in the summer of 2003 I think. I went to a bunch of the others that year too (they were every Friday if I remember right).
