My first show was The Doobie Brothers at the Carolina Coliseum (circa '80-82). I was in the middle of a football game and my coach came and told me that my Mom was there to pick me up because there was a death in the family. So I go with my Mom and start walking to the car when she tells me that we're going to a concert. I get in the car and she had me a change of clothes and my aunt with her. I must say an awesome first show for a 10-12 year old. I'm still a big Doobie Brothers fan to this day because of it.

Bama I think you and I are about the same age. I actually saw Powerman and Static X once down in Columbus for the Family Values Tour. Got kicked in the head by a crowd surfer so the guitarist for Staind gave me his pick. Pretty cool.

Mudvayne at Pops (its in ESTL) a friends of mine her Boyfriend was in a bad that was the opening band so he got us free tickets... It was pretty awesome.

I bet that was badass. I caught a pick from one of the Powerman 5000 guitarists, the guy I went to the concert was so pissed that I caught it. On the way there he was talking about really wanting a pick from somebody lol.

I also saw Static X they were with Danzig also at Pops in ESTL. for those who have never been to East St Louis it is also a very classy place. (that was sarcasm I know its tough to pick up in writing.)
