Who doesn't like BIG plays on game day?
Whether it's a kick return for 100+ yards end zone-to-end zone; a terrific cut-back off tackle by the HB, breaking out into the open field with one man to beat; a well designed screen play on 4th and desperation that nets double the yards needed to sustain a drive late in the waning seconds of a close game; or, the launch of "da Bomb" thrown with uncanny precision just over the out-stretched hands of a defender into the waiting hands of a sure handed receiver in full stride....
If you put together an ideal offensive team, who would make your Best All-Time offensive squad?
Mine is as follows:
QB--Roger Staubach
Back-up (Joe Montana)
Backfield: Franco Harris, Larry Csonka, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, and John Riggins
Receiving core: Fred Biletnikoff(WR), Jerry Rice (WR), Lynn Swann (WR) and Kellen Winslow (TE)
Back-up TE: Tony Gonzalez
O-Line: Jerry Kramer, Jim Otto, Larry Little, Gene Upshaw, and Art Shell
PK: Adam Vinateri
