You can ONLY choose one Orlando Brown or Daron Payne.

If the choice comes down to having only one on the team in 2023 which should it be?

It's mover and shakers season and Washington will have to answer many questions before training camp begins. There will be difficult decisions to make and what to do with Daron Payne headlines them all at this point. The question is... given the choice which would you want our team to have on its roster in 2023?

I went with brown given the poor OLine, rookie qb possibly starting, and familiarity with the reid/EB offense.

Dline already great and has some depth plus a wildcard in Mathis.

OLine is terrible with terrible depth and no studs to anchor it.

Get a stud left tackle in free agency (brown) trade Payne for picks, use that freed up money on another olinemen or two, draft lb and cb.

Quality offseason.

Last yr you all thought replacing our 2,starting guards would be easy . It wasn’t and a position group that was strong turned into urine .

we know nothing about Mathis, and an injury to allen and your d/line becomes urine . Without Payne being there

you keep Payne until you know what Mathis is or better yet stop pursuing the latest shiny new toy and keep guys we drafted and developed .

we can sign brown and keep Payne however the issue isn’t money it’s the fact our ownership situation is in flux

The only person who possibly thought this way was dean. Most posters realized that getting rid of sherff and replacing him with yet even more carolina retreads was not going to work out.

Brown has two rings. Why in hell would he want to sign with the Commoncheros?

c'mon now. I knew there was a regression in talent, but I didn't think the old Caronia guys would be this bad. The Roulier injury put the nail in the coffin for this interior oline. Hopefully it gets fixed this off season.

quite a few posters felt this way , the issue was paying BS and keeping, ironically, our d/line intact . dont know how many times i had to go over budgets with them . .

i would hope the team would have learned from the most recent past

If you can only have one you take Orlando Brown. It is a premium position and he is a better LT. From there, you would also be able to get compensation for the tagged Payne.

Per ESPN, the Chiefs offered Brown a six-year, $139M extension (APY $23.16m) prior to the 2022 season, which would’ve made him the NFL’s highest-paid left tackle. But the two sides have failed to strike a long-term agreement.

you all want him for more then this ?
