key words.. "so far" and the decline has already began.

This is where if you ask HW how has K'cibia's numbers have been trending over that same "decline has already began" period of Wells, he'll say you're deflecting

Ehh, I don't care

So Heatwave.... how have Arencibia's numbers been trending over that same time period?

"I'm not a nitpicker!"

Meanwhile, let me ignore everything else and pick out 2 words that help out my agenda

you just sat here and told me wells would adequately replace the numbers of ibanez and jones and you're saying that because he had a hot april. and i am the one nit picking? do you care elaborate on how his numbers are declining and the reason why you feel they will stay the same. especially since he hasn't come close to the numbers you feel he will adequately replace. in years.

actually it's pretty steady. around the same average. only thing is his homer rate dropped. that's about it.

i didn't you're boy Andy went on how i nit picked his stats. and i asked so now JP is the best hitting catcher is the league since the he leads in all the categories i mentioned above.

You completely missed the point about the stupidity of using Cumulative numbers...didn't you?

Also he doesn't league the league in slugging or Hits..

I believe you're "misremembering"

Would you care to point out where I said any of those things?

Weird how you've been so eager to talk about Wells trends (even though absolutely no one has even remotely suggested that they think he'll maintain his current #'s), while at the same time making no mention at all of K'cibia's, even though we're discussing him at this very moment

It's almost like you cherry pick....

I understand that you're a Blue Jays fan, but batters outside of Toronto do more than hit homeruns and strike out

Last season
Jones .197/.294/.408 89 OPS+ in 269 PA
Ibanez .240/.308/.453 104 OPS+ in 425 PA

I'm sure Vernon Wells can match an OPS+ of under 100 this season

was that not you????

Great, now what does that have to do with this?

"you just sat here and told me wells would adequately replace the numbers of ibanez and jones and you're saying that because he had a hot april. and i am the one nit picking?"

and he is tied in hits.

He doesn't lead in TB's either

You are aware that there are many sites out there which you can get stats from, so that you don't need to make them up..... right?
