In back to the game news, Cano does nothing to improve his average.

Cano is being paid like a super-star because he is a super-star. He under-performed, so he deserved to be ripped. Seager on the other hand is being paid like a solid player that he is and he's still one of the better 3B in the game... so I don't know what the problem is. He's doing just fine.

I think we're ok with Seager because he's hitting his average... Great... He is what he is... He's a great glove at 3rd and an average hitter...

Interesting how it's ok to rip Cano and give Seager a pass... I see why he's given a pass because he is what he is... I'm fine with that if M's fans wouldn't keep putting him on a pedestal... Do you guys really think Cano is going to continue to stink?

I hope not... But he wouldn't be the first guy to come here and not produce like he should.

my only complaint about seags is he thinks he is faster than he really is, but other than that his is a top 5 3rd basemen in the AL

A 2.0 means nothing at this point until years end. I guarantee you he will be around 4.5-5. He's that solid.

well currently he is 4th best in war among AL 3rd basemen and last year he was 3rd best which is better than solid, and im not saying war is the end all be all, but its a lot better than judging a batter based on their avg.

We're not even at the half way point of the season yet, but if you look at his projected 2015 numbers, it's within the vicinity of 2014. He's producing, so what's the problem?

Cano on the other hand is WAY down and deserved to get ripped.
