I'm sure it could be but it'd take someone that's seen tons of wrestling from all over the world for many decades. Plus, it'd probably be subjective pending on who you got to do it since each person would probably emphasize different things. How hard would it be to rank the top 50 pro rasslers of all time?
Can it be done?
How do the old legends stack up vs Hogan, Flair, Austin? Can't see anyone active belonging right now. Cena not active.

I wouldn’t be opposed to that. But for me, I feel like I would’ve had to have seen them wrestle some to put them in my list. And I never really was able to watch the territories like Mid South, AWA, World Class, Stampede, etc...Impact on the sport has to be the first thing ya look at.

To a point, I feel like that’s true for boxing because you can have a great record but fought a lot of jabronies. You don't have to have seen Sugar Ray Robinson box to know all about him.
But, the territories were the best of times for pro wrestling, so many name wrestlers around then.

For me, one of the factors I’d consider is being a box office draw. For that, you obviously wouldn’t need to watch and can just look at ratings, attendance and even possibly merchandise sales. But if I were placing a high emphasis on technical ability, that’d be something where I’d obviously have to have seen the talent instead of hearing about something by word of mouth.
