I doubt they had a 3rd or 4th round grade on Gabbert . He was pretty widely considered to be a first rounder . All these hindsight " I didn't want this guy " comments by coaches are pretty much all bullshit . Sometimes a guy just isn't as good as everyone thought he was going to be

even if that is an exaggeration. You know the team is in disarray when that happens between coach & GM. So you kinda knew right then Del Rio was on his way out. The only reason you can get away with showing that kinda disrespect to a HC.

Yeah it's not like Gabbert was a Christian Ponder type pick where people thought he was a second or third rounder and he went 12th. Pretty much everyone had him in the top 15 so saying they had a 3rd or 4th round grade on him is likely bullshit
