I know many Hawk fan still hate us, (we're not giving it back so get over it...lol) but I have no issues with SEA...win 1 of these next 2 and homefield will be locked up and I really like your chances to play in the SB this year.

Window...you are so right but it's getting ready to change quickly...having a 3rd rd QB (with an extremely low cap #) perform at such a high level allows you guys to spend a lot more on other players, such as Avil, Clemons, and Thomas, etc. but the contracts for Sherman, and RW, and several others are on the horizon and the reality of the hard cap will hit.

05 superbowl is still fresh in my mind til this day. I can probably name every flag and miscue that did us in that game. I hated the Steelers for a while but I don't think you guys are anywhere high on any Seattle hate list now. At least not on mine.

And you're right about the window of opportunity. If this was the NBA and we had this talent...it's a guarantee 5-6 year of contention. In the NFL...things change every year. This is the Seahawk's window and opportunity this year. I really hope we seize it. As a Seahawk fan after 05...we kept saying we will come back we will come back but we never got close again. Lost Hutch and Shaun wore down.

I've only recently gotten over it with the recent struggles that the Steelers are facing, and am actually rooting for you guys to make the playoffs. You have a really good underdog vibe going on right now. If only you would have beaten the Ravens on thanksgiving! I definitely would not mind a repeat of 2005 for this superbowl. We were the #1 seed that year while you guys were the #6 seed too. Hmm, think I just talked myself out of rooting for you now . That team in the superbowl would scare me too much
