Kinda makes me proud our poor Colts game them their only loss. Those guys may not lose again this season. I am sure hoping for a Seahawks vs. Denver matchup in the SB. That would be one for the ages.

I am sure all 12th man enjoy seeing any kudo's from other NFL fans (purguy sorry i forgot to say thanks in that thread in the Niner forum).

One thing i would like to say though is that there was many 12th man last year saying how great this team is,the thing is with all the trolls and i mean this very strongly is they made up shit all the time and derailed what LOB is,and how good RW is and will be.

Ask many 12th man and they will tell you we have yet to see a complete game on both sides of the ball until today, some were close but not complete, this team when on all cylinders firing cannot be beat currently, that's the truth and with over 30 years watching the NFL i can only think of a hand full of teams that compare.

They seem to be nearing that place the 2007 Patriots got when nearly everyone seemed to agree they were a team of destiny, and they could not be beat.

There's not a team I like better than them in the NFL, but I do find myself wondering if this is headed somewhere other than a Super Bowl trophy. It seems like #1 seed teams of destiny, often don't end up being teams of destiny these days.

Everything points to a Denver / Seattle Super Bowl. I say only one actually gets there and then loses.

It does point to it...who do you think won't make it?

I'm thinking they both will make it...but if DEN has some bad weather, I could see PM struggling and them losing @ home...I'm struggling with who will go in their and beat them...NE, maybe.

Personally, I'm pulling for a Chicago v. Denver matchup. That was one of the most impressive defensive performances last night that I've ever seen. When pressure wasn't forcing Brees into bad throws, Seattle defenders were knocking the ball out of the hands of receivers like Graham and Colston.

At this time I can't see anything other than a Seachickens vs Donkeys SB. Sure the Broncos have lost some games but they are still the best the AFC has to offer. At this point I can see the Seachickens getting their forst Lombardi and I would be cool with that. I like when a team that has done poorly does well.

Thanks. Being a diehard Seahawk fan since `78 and a season ticket holder since `87, a Lombardi has to be earned and many of us Seahawk fans believe this is our year. We know wierd things can happen to derail us but we have survived every flipping hurdle thrown at us so far.

Many hate us and that is your right, but this fan base is rock solid and it has definately earned the right to hoist the Lombardi. If not this year it should happen soon as we have a large window presently.

At this point I have no issues with Seahawk fans, but if the win their first Lombardi we will have to see. A Lombardi earned has a weird way of drawing out the worst of fans in a fanbase. I saw it happen with the Pats. You start getting fans that will agrue until blue in the face even though they know they are wrong, they are biased and impossible to tolerate.

Impressive game and win last night for the Seahawks. Definitely looking good as a NFC SB contender.

Never minded hawks fans until recently. Always liked the underdog and Seattle was that for many years. And let me clarify, many hawks fans are fine. But the ones that are not, are so obnoxious, they taint the perception of good fans, IMO.

I would also offer that I was equally disgusted with OTT skins fans last year regarding Griff. Doesn't do any favors for any fan base having fans like that.

Lol, if you are unable to even admit, that there exists a pocket of clueless, shock value statement, argumentative hawks fans, it's hard to have a discussion about it.

Opinions are just that, opinions. That one is mine.

I would add double jive, that 'defending the flag' while admirable, also has to have some objectivity. Not picking on you, as I don't avidly follow Hawks posters so I really don't know your posting history and honestly, I'm not interested enough to research it or those hawks posters that back my comment on the 'obnoxious' hawks posters I've seen.

It would be ugly, Manning in NY in February against that Seattle D? It would be a blood bath. I am not sure the Seattle O would have to take the field.

Also I really do not think Manning is going to make it, once again outdoors for the playoffs.

Perhaps 90% of Seahawks fans that weren't Seahawks fans before Holmgren turned that thing around are the Seahawks fans that typically annoy fans of other teams? Perhaps 90% of Seahawks fans these people have encountered whom are not from that area or have ties there, are the ones that folks find obnoxious?

I think it's clear that Seattle is a team I've been closely watching the past 2 years. (1) for Pete Carrol (2) Because they've smacked around the 9ers the past 2 games.

With that said I think the only thing left for them is to have a game like last nights on the road. Hopefully it'll happen this weekend. Seattle definintely has both local radio shows shaking in their boots. HOF's Bill Romanowski and Rod Woodson host a noon show here and both of them a gushing with respect and admiration over what Pete Carroll and company are doing. They sound as if they'd suit of for him right now. Think it goes to show what they think about Kaepernick and crew can do this weekend.

Great performance by the Seahawks last night, that D would have smothered any team in the NFL. Also, the O did its part. If Seattle gets HFA, they will be in SB, although I could see a tough team like the Panthers giving them a helluva game.

I can't speak for anyone else but if Seattle wins the Super Bowl I'll be too hungover to post for at least a month so you won't have to worry about me.
