In all seriousness, I do wish the NFL hired the referees full time and enacted discipline for egregious mistakes and bad calls. I feel this would significantly enhance the integrity of the game. They fine players for hits that don't even draw penalties in the moment, so the referees' performance should also be reviewable and if the review shows a referee made a mistake they shouldn't have, whether it be missing a call or calling a penalty that shouldn't have been called, they should be fined and if it happens enough, suspended.

Cheerleaders should be hired full time. As an integral part of the game, those poor girls deserve a chance to build a full life and career.

Challenge of penalties would turn the NFL into a circus. It didn't even work well being able to challenge PI late in a game, let alone challenging all penalties.

I view the game as a microcosm of western society. More rules, by the ill informed, to be enforced by the ill tempered and ill trained, watched by the masses to line the pockets of the few until forced to go back to their lives controlled by everyone but themselves.

I'd be a horrible ref.
