The cap is projected to be at over $200mil two years from now. That's what...a $45 mil increase over 2016? Flacco's numbers aren't changing.

Money this is where you have to read the entire topic to understand the conversation. Your boy Oldschool said that Von Miller was demanding more money than Flacco which well isn't true. IT has been wildly reported that Von Miller and the Broncos have already agreed on the overall money of the deal and number of years. Very easy to look up. Right now it is $114.5 million over 6-years which comes to about $19.1 million per year. Flacco's deal over the next 6-years is worth $150.85 million. Which comes out to about $25.14 million per year.

So see this is one of those times where Oldschool chimes in on a topic he doesn't understand and says he doesn't understand yet continues to argue. And yet here you are once again trying to support him and argue with people who actually know the Cap pretty well and have numbers to easily back that up.

Not what I heard.

So I wasn't arguing whether Flacco's contract is a terrible contract or that in 5 years it won't be a discounted contract compared to many other QB's who will pass it up. I was arguing the point that Miller is not demanding more money than Flacco for his upcoming contract.

You heard wrong.

Maybe. I heard it on Mike and Mike. I can't remember who it was though. It was just recently (talking about Luck's contract).

But you have argued that Flacco's contract is terrible with me. Have you changed your mind?

M&M leans heavily towards hyperbole than actual facts. Yes the cap is jumping up at higher rates. And yes that makes annual $25+ mil contracts easier to sustain under the cap. But $200 mil in 2018 is not happening.

I don't care what your argument with OS is. That's between you and him.

Not in the least. I just wasn't arguing that at this point yet you just assumed I was when that was not the point being made in the conversation. Yes I think by the end of the contract it should be looking much better than it does right now. The next few years though with cap hits of $22.5 million, $24.55 million, and $24.75 million I don't think the cap is going to go up so much that those type of cap hits look great. I still think that would be top-10 in the league and I don't view Flacco as a top-10 QB in this league.

I would tend to agree that it would be an unreasonable jump to expect.

Yet you jumped the conversation to something completely different than what was being discussed. Don't you usually get upset when somebody takes a topic off topic?

Okay. Just making sure.

I think you're wrong, Joe carried a 40mil check down to the BBall court to show his team mates...
But I am a long way from Cap expert, all I know about it is that it has left us setting good cap wise according to all our reports...
You think wrong then. Signing bonus' are spread evely over five years, meaning 40m signing bonus' count 8M per year against the cap for 5 years.

I think every fan base at some point has gone through those times. For Broncos fans it was the McDaniels era. Our 4-12 season was the first time I was honestly embarrassed of my team and what I was seeing on the field. I will say though I got into great shape that season as my way of dealing with the pain is to go for a run so I got to go for lots of runs that year.
The Seahawks have been in existence for only 5 years, but all 5 have been great. Well, expect for that year we had that drunken, gun toting Tarvaris Jackson at QB.

Marge is holed up with Manster, word is he has her down in his well. Now MidnightAngel is available. Just a word to the wise no funny business, unless your drunk and Kaetlyn looks appealing

Just curious. Does Manster have a little white poodle?

Correct me if I am wrong, but Denver can't trade Von if he has not yet signed the FT.

I think that is correct. I didn't realize that till last year when someone corrected me on it.

LOL, truth is no pets at all, wife is allergic to them especially cats, always tease her by saying when I'm ready to force a divorce I'm getting a cat.

That is an option but he wants like 25-30mil per yr, and John knows he ain't worth it...:pop2:

His best bet to get that then is to one year and guarantee of no more tag.
