The infield fly rule call was some BS.

Seems to be a recurring theme in big games that they come down to poor calls from the officials. Yet all the sport leagues refuse to put in stricter rules on the officials and allow for replays that question their judgement. It's however totally cool to review player conduct and plays after the game and hand out fines for them.

Kap really needs to work on getting the plays out faster and doing a bit less orchestration when they don't have time for it. Not just the delays, but just using way too much time on almost every play when they were down big and needed to run as many plays as they could.

agreed. this has been an issue for a while as well.

hopefully fix this crap in the off season.

true story. Thanks for bringing that up. I am a braves fan....

I bet Chipper Jones wishes he received the same treatment from the MLB, as Ray Lewis did from the NFL...

Retiring with a ring.

Yeah, but I don't know how much of that is the coaching staff - either in getting the play in or coaching him not to do that. On the other hand, sometimes you need to be greedy - if the last move you do changes to a winner play, you win. It's hard to go away from making that change if you see the potential. Some people said that the play was a winner if not for the clock; well, maybe we wouldn't have been in the winner play position if he hadn't tried? I'll have to rewatch it, however painful it is. But, as hard as it is, he'll get better.

Is it true that the headset turns off at 15 seconds left? If so, it can't be not getting the playcall in until then (unless they literally don't get it to you), it just has to be late to screw you up or you decide too late.

NFC West gets screwed again by the ref's.

Seahawks 2004 / 2005.
Cardinals 2008 / 2009 (not as bad as Seattle or the 49ers)
49ers 2012 / 2013.

ummmmm no .........not trying to be a dick

you were down 28-6 without any bad calls.....and to the op if they called holding on the safety play it still would have been a safety and saved you about 5 seconds

the refs did not factor in the outcome like they did in the sea/pitt SB

the 4th down play was clean...crabtree ran right to the defender and the defense has a right to there space.....he did not hold

once again not trying to stir shit up just expressing my opinion

The defender has a right to space..not to opponent's jersey lol

But 28-6 is right, they did that to themselves.

That was a pretty obvious missed call. Not sure why you think Jimmy Smith did not hold.

Moreso afterwards

whatevers. I'm more disappointed the niners didn't play the game the way they could play than a last minute controversial call.

We only had glimpses of greatness from the niners this game, it shouldn't have come down to some ref's call
