Hahaha I was kind of thinking while reading this thread "has everyone here never been on a date or have they just blocked all of that shit out?"

White Oleander is terrible, but the all time worst "I let my date pick this" choice for me is easy.



On the positive side, my wife agreed afterwards that it was shit and apologized for picking it.

I see a ton of part 2 movies are mentioned here. We should probably omit them. Most are crap and few are as good as part 1. The most notable exception was the Adams Family. Family Values was actually better than the first.

I will submit Ishtar. That thing was unwatchable.

Actually the movie is fucking hilarious. I suggest you give it a shot if you are drunk or high.

I was going to say, that movie was awesome. I generally judge movies by the expectations I have going in. I usually don't like to have any, but sometimes there's hype you can't ignore one way or the other.

The worst movie I saw recently was Trash Humpers. Complete fucking garbage. Didn't know anything about it other than it was in 2 lists (weird movies and 21st most acclaimed) on a site I follow. Thankfully I had other things to do while it was on.

The movie that was most hyped up to me with people telling me it was the greatest movie ever that I watched and just didn't get was Pulp Fiction. Maybe I saw it too long after it came out, but there was nothing to it for me.

What an utter piece of crap this movie was...I don't think I've ever been able to sit though more than 5-10 minutes of it...

I have to disagree. This had several funny scenes. Not a good movie but still made me laugh and gave me and the kids something funny to say. This is what you're doing. This is what I want you to do. I would use that one when they were talking and I wanted them to stop.
