I would prefer Verlander over Darvish - but from the beginning, I thought the Dodgers pitching staff was weak and I was concerned about that 11 of 12 losses they had back in the season. I was concerned that they might not be quite as good as everyone thought.

Honestly watch IF the Dodgers got Verlander he would suck. Who would ever have predicted he'd had he season he has now once getting to Houston

They're making sure JV throws at least 3 pitches.

That was what made the Dodgers successful in the regular season - they wore out the pitchers by not swinging at the walks. I don't know why, but it seems like to me they got away from their defense in this series on that score. They got to wear out Verlander

He had to have been pretty good from the beginning to get a large contract though, but you never know. I do know, however that I was never highly impressed with the Dodgers pitching staff. I know this game could go either way, but Houston does look better

He was on the market for anyone that would take his contract - Dodgers were looking, but already had one of the highest payrolls in the league - it was stated today that they didn't want that large contract and Houston still have a lot of young guys with some of them on rookie contracts - they took the contract because they had more money - At least that was the opinion on ESPN today.

They traded for Darvish, dumb ass. It wasn't like they stayed idle and let the trade deadline pass without making a deal. And at the time, Darvish was the better trade option.

He regained his control a month or so before the trade. He never lost his stuff, it was just all over the place for half the season for some reason. He fixed it. This has been quite a stretch for him but he was pretty good last season too.

Darvish is a witch with the baseball when he is on. It's only hindsight now knowing Verlander would revert to his younger self that anybody could be upset you guys didn't go after him.

I know what they did - but right now If I had a choice, I would take Darvish over Verland - you stupid piece of shit
