Verlander breaks one off in Dodgers. He is the ACE of MLB.
KLUBER SHOULD BE TAKING NOTES
Meh...
Too much of a mockery of what the game should be. Failed pitcher after failed pitcher.
Give me a good tz-approved game any day of the week.
Exceptions exist to every rule, of course. But a game where it seemed no pitcher could even get an out is just not entertaining. To me, more joy comes from anticipation than from payoff. That game never gave the viewer a chance to experience any anticipation. But baseball is more than 2-1 pitchers' duels. Maybe tzill would like a World Series where each and every game was 3-1, 1-0, 4-2, 2-0....but that'd be pretty boring. Do you want that EVERY day of the week? Was it a mockery when Sandoval hit 3 HRs in one WS game? Babe Ruth did that a couple of times too, and of course Reggie in 1977 (all 3 HRs on the first pitch I believe)
Variety is what makes baseball special and the best part of it (to me). One day you win 12-10, the next day you lose 2-0, same hitters. All the parks are different. One league has the DH one doesn't. Every day you see something new.
A 13-12 game with lots of comebacks is entertaining as hell. If every game were like that of course it would suck. But it would kind of suck if every game was 1-0 too.

Murph (I think) on KNBR made a great point yesterday. He loves mint chocolate chip ice cream. But if he ate an entire gallon in one sitting, he feels sick.
The Dodgers bats, though putting up runs, have been mostly dormant.
@OutlawImmortal I need to win some of that cash back you took off me during the NLDS

If they can get past Verlander I like their chances in g7Can't exactly refuse. I'm praying the Dodgers can pull these 2 games out somehow. I'm honestly thinking about combining Hill and Darvish game 6 and going Kershaw short rest Game 7. The bullpen needs to regroup and Darvish didn't exactly throw many pitches in Game 3.
Although if Roberts were listening to me, Wood wouldn't have pitched that Game 4 gem because I would have used him in extras in Game 2 instead of McCarthy.
