Since I did not get a generation definition, I will put up Paul Molitor against Gwynn. Gwynn has a better lifetime average, by 30 points.

HOWEVER, Molitor has more hits, r.b.i, doubles, triples, & homers.

but if boggs came up earlier, he passes gwynn in all but average and OPS, probably
