I don't think we can thank the Tigers enough for taking Max Clark.

I was against the draft lottery as much as anyone was, but wow, it couldn't have worked out better for the Rangers in the first year it was implemented.

A DFW team was due for some lottery luck. San Antonio has been getting lucky for awhile now with Duncan and wembanyama.

The Angels drafted a kid last year and he was brought up late last year.

Pete Incaviglia made the Rangers in 1986 without ever playing in the minors.

Urena is pitching well early. All of a sudden, I am feeling a whole lot better about our starting pitching depth with Bradford, Urena and Leiter ready in case of injuries.

Looking at the box scores for both of the Rangers split squad games just now and see that of the 18 starters in today's lineups the leaders in OPs are as follows.

Marcus Semien
Davis Wendzel
Josh Smith
Evan Carter

I guessing that Bradford goes to the pen. Makes the pen better also.

Yeah, me too. Personally, I think he would be a better starter than Heaney, but there is not enough proven separation between the two of them for Bochy to put the veteran in the bullpen. I do think the leash on Heaney will be fairly short should he struggle.

Although, Bradford gave up an RBI double to Austin Hedges today, so he may need to retire. Lol

The lefty Blake Taylor is another guy to consider for the pen. He has put up good numbers for the Astros in the past, and he has had a good spring.

Shreve, Greene, and Danny Duffy were told they are not making the club.

Leiter comes and and strikes out the side in order in the 7th inning.

Let's not do to Leiter what we did to Ragans. Send him to Round Rock and let him start.
