Reading Jeff Wilson's article this morning about the possible 26-man roster left me wondering if we have ever had this deep of a 25 or 26-man roster. There are going to be some really tough decisions made.

Instead of looking to fill out a roster with last day cuts from other teams, we could actually be in a position to trade away players who are too good to release.

Word to the wise how we treat people is important. Eph dished it out but he had some valuable opinions I think
IMO the board was too rough with him so now he does not frequent
I hate that
There has been several on this board. Seems like all they wanted to do was argue with people on this board. They acted like their opinion is the only one that mattered.

Not sure if I am part of this comment but if so my response on Ragans wasn't meant to be. My anger is towards the Rangers. Back in spring training last year I was the 1st one to state he needs to keep starting in AAA because he was pitching so well. When they finally did that he had 3 short starts where he pitched well and struck out 16 in 10 innings then they traded him. Chapman was terrible. When he made it through an inning many times he was very fortunate such as the deep ball in Houston that went to the only place where it would not hit the wall or go out of the park and Carter turned it into a DP or Seager's spectacular DP. And his control was terrible.
So if I came across as mean spirited I apologize for that. Both the Ragans trade and Chapman being a reason we won a WS are things I have a problem with and that problem is with the front office and managers/coaches and not towards yourself or Nightcrawler. I am not sure I will get over what an incredibly idiotic chain of events the Rangers did to not see what they had in Ragans.

Semien is doing what Semien does. He messes around and has a slump and fans get upset with him and then when it is all said and done he has really good stats.

Can we now say this is one of our starting OFer on opening day? Because if he is not then add this to the Ragans list of ticking me off. LOL!
I am not sure what Bochy is waiting on. This must be one of those unwritten rules about how to handle rookies or something crazy like that.

Which manager was it that would not start a rookie on Opening Day? He would sit them and then they would start the next game and from then on. Was that Showalter?

Josh Smith has a walk and a double today and has his OPS up to .892. That is about a 100 points higher than Duran and Duran has had a pretty good spring.

There is one possible reason why they haven't announced Wyatt Langford as having made the roster. Maybe they are waiting so they can name him the starting LF. That would require at least a conversation with Leody, and it might require a trade being made first.

Derek Hill has had a good spring also. Don’t see him making the team though.

Dunning with a great outing through 5 innings with 8 strikeouts.
Top three of Eovaldi, Gray and Dunning is very good. I like Heaney and Bradford to be real solid guys, as well. At this point I'm just concerned about depth. Urena looks like he can be a depth guy, though. And Leiter looks like he may be on his way with a little more seasoning in the minors.
