That was a big positive, but Langford also impressed me with his at-bat in the 4th where he was able to foul off a few pitches to stay alive, which ultimately led to him getting hit by the last pitch. Would have been ball four regardless.
Definitely a savvy kid. I bet his walk rate will be high.

Between Langford, Foscue and Duran this team is going to have some tough decisions to make.
Thinking the best call is Langford in LF with Foscue at DH, and let Duran be a big utility guy who still gets a decent amount of playing time.

Montgomery's still not signed because Boras is trying to get him a higher $ contract than what his lifetime stats are worth. I also think he really wants to come back to the Rangers or otherwise he'd already be signed by someone else. If he comes back to Texas I think it will be 3-4 years at about $18M per year plus a signing bonus and innings incentives...
