Kind of doubt we pay for Montgomery without moving a pitcher like Gray. We look ok SP wise and with DeGrom coming back we need MILB depth besides Kent and even Winn who may be taken off the roster

I am fine not resigning Garver I less it is team friendly. Leody I bet stays unless we can get pitching for him. Think regardless there is room for him even if we resign Jank and Wyatt comes up. Not worried about DH. Could easily be a fillin spot.
Am concerned about having a decent back up to Lowe and how we handle our back up catcher

Bet Lowe stays down in the lineup

Need to sign a closer and maybe another or get via trade. I am rolling the dice on JHern but not sure re Burke. Very puzzling

Need to make siire we have MLB a ready pen with options that we can Fo up and down with

There have been plenty of opportunities in the past where he could have gotten more playing time, but this discussion was started about Huff's ability to hit big league pitching. He has that ability and that has been shown.

Okay. He hit .260 this year in 43 at-bats with 17 SO’s.

Two backup OF who cannot play in the IF is really hard to do when you only have 4 reserves on the bench, and 1 of those is a catcher. You really need a Duran/Wendzel/Smith type who can play both IF and OF. In fact, 2 of those type would be ideal.

I’ve been playing the Devil’s Advocate but I still don’t know who we bench to give Huff the sufficient playing time without effecting other parts of the team game. He is an above adequate catcher but do we put Heim on the bench to give him playing time there? He is a below average 1st baseman so replacing Lowe would adversely affect team defense. Other than Arizona we were the best defensive team with only 76 errors during the regular season. And at DH would he benefit from sitting until his next at bat?

Currently, we don't have a DH or a backup C or a backup 1B. Well, except Huff.

Fighure that Wyatt will be the primary LF’er, Carter primary CF’er and of course Adolis in Right.

CBSSports is saying the Rangers will probably trade Duran as there’s not a spot on the roster for him and that Milwaukee, Boston or Chicago White Sox seem to be the logical landing spots

If FO does not plan any further development for him, trade him.

So under the radar FA signing for Rangers is Justin Turner IMO
