between the 3 the D’backs scored 6 runs and we were forced to use Leclerc to get the last out. And no I was glad to see them pull Smith even if he did strike out Marte & Carroll I have no faith he was going to get that last out

Yeah, you are always going to need a quality 4th OF no matter what the expected playing time of the first three are. It always helps to have a David Murphy type guy.

I know no one agrees with me but Jankowski deserves to be on this team next season. Every time he has been called on he’s made the plays and contributed offense when needed. He is the optimum 4th outfielder that can backup all 3 outfield positions. My 2024 outfield would be Langford, Carter & Garcia with Jankowski as the 4th

I actually wanted Jankowski to replace Taveras in the series. Taveras hasn't been close to getting a hit.
