Great game, great tournament - and is going to end with the worst tie-breaker in all of sports.

Without a doubt. Never seen this level of play and excitement. On to PKs !
Incredible game. The only other game I can think of that rivals the intensity and drama for an ending was the USWNT v Brazil and Abby Wambach's goal with about 2 seconds left.

Ya , I'd rather see it go on too but there is some drama to it as a spectator

Argentina and France it is for the final on Sunday

2018 Argentina had 2 losses in World Cup
- Group stage: Lost 3-0 to Croatia
- 1st knockout round: Lost 4-3 to France

Argentina beat Croatia 3-0 to advance to final... would love to see Argentina 4-3 victory over France in final.
Great call, I don't think anyone would have gotten that one. I had Argentina 2-1 in reg time.

Again excellent call

3-3... Argentina needed penalties to win.

Excellent game... one of the best finals ever.

Argentina is going crazy right now.... here in Rosario (hometown of Messi and DiMaria) many go to the Monument of the Flag to celebrate.

I'm glad for the Argentinians, Messi deserved this, and this gives him a good argument in the GOAT discussion. He's the best I've seen, without a doubt.

The Reyna vs Berhalter saga takes a turn...
The mother did it because her son wasn’t playing enough. I remember that kind of shit in high school. I don’t think I would touch Reyna with 10 ft pole at this point. That’s cancerous behavior from his parents and should have no place in professional sports. What a baby.

I wanted Berhalter gone because of his decisions with regards to rosters and playing time but I’ll be pissed if they let him go right now. What he did was unacceptable but it was 30 years ago. 30 years ago! and she obviously forgave him and married him and is still with him. F the spoiled, entitled Reyna‘s and their attempt to get him fired because they were butt hurt their son didn’t play more. That’s not how the world works and that’s not the way you teach your son accountability, although Gio did admit that he acted inappropriately after getting the news that he wasn’t going to play a FT role. Hopefully he had nothing to do with it and is embarrassed by what his Ahole, cancel culture parents did.

What a little cvnt Claudio Reyna is. Berhalter and his wife both made a mistake 31 years ago but were accountable for it from day 1 and it clearly isn't an issue to either of them nor should it ever have been made public all these years later and was clearly done for no other reason than revenge from the AHole Reyna's. Claudio Reyna however is just an entitled baby who thinks he can do what he wants and cares about nothing other than what suits him and his family and clearly his wife is no better and vindictive and played an equal role in this ordeal. No wonder they raised a spoiled brat who sulked when he didn't get what he wanted and now has a well deserved bad reputation that he will need to fight to overcome. I hope Gio can mature and put this behind him and be a team player. His parents should not be allowed to have any contact with the US Soccer Federation. Berhalter should not be re-hired based on his performance as HC, but not because of any of this. Personally, I'm glad they made the texts and comments from the Reyna's public so we can all see their poor character and that they had no concern for the S team and solely on what benefited their son. Good riddance.

And on the USMNT we continue to have Pulisic take every corner and almost never deliver a decent ball into the box
