With the Big12 being so bad, how outlandish is it to say that OU and OSU could be

undefeated going into Bedlam? Seriously, UT just isn't that good this season and TCU lost their QB AGAIN. Tech will most likely lose to both and basically it all comes down to Baylor pulling the upset which is more than likely not gonna happen.

Any thoughts? I mean, the Big12 is literally that bad...

OU has to beat Notre Dame in South Bend for them to be undefeated going into the rest of conference play.

Bingo. And that's all I'm focused on right now.

Damn that's right. I was just sitting here thinking about how terrible the conference is and realized that OU could actually win every game going into bedlam.

How has ND looked?

this.

playing at South Bend vs ND is a lot different than playing TU in Norman.

Bell looked good but it will be a totally different animal in SB.

How has ND looked?

Not that great really. But good enough to be a decent test IMO. I mean they lost to Michigan and didn't look great vs Purdue, but then OU barely beat WV, so it's a toss up.

I like our chances against ND, but the only way Oklahoma has a chance to get to Bedlam undefeated is to take one game at a time and take every game as seriously as possible. Absolutely zero looking ahead or they'll stumble.

Considering our qb situation now compared to then I can't really consider out offensive performance against WVU too heavily when weighing their chances against the domers.

the OU team that barely beat WVU, is different than the team that beat TU this past weekend. Bell has shown he can throw the ball, which Knight struggled with.

Not saying that OU rolls out of SB with a win, but I like the chances better than 2 weeks ago.

Yeah but that's just normal early season stuff really.

in this case, not really. Bell proved he can throw the ball, because he did throw some damn nice passes in the TU game which is something that Knight just did not do with the the consistency and Bell did.

OU has an open week before the ND game, so it will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

I disagree. Going to a completely different quarterback and changing your offensive scheme to a large extent changes the entire landscape of your team and the level at which it is capable of playing. Going from a qb who three for under 275 yards in 2 games combined to one who threw for 400+ and 4 touchdowns in one changes everything.

I agree changing QB's is a big deal and not normal. But it's happening at a point where many teams are getting the kinks worked out, so in that way it's normal. ND hasn't looked that great, but it's that time of the year. That makes it difficult to predict who is going to win unless it's just extremely lopsided.

Your QB had a good game, but it's only 1 game.

Fortunately he gets an additional week to prepare. If knight were still our qb i would be as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof. Like I said, I feel optimistic but we'll have to wait and see. That's why they play the games.
