Cool! A flyover!

Hey so called fiscal conservatives, know how much air shows and flyoves at sporting events cost?

I'm at my parents place in Orlando and we had two jets fly over pretty low...I love them and it's cool, but...uhhhh...why?

Probably because your folks live close to a military airbase.



We should leave the military aircraft parked on the tarmac until we need them for war because training is over-rated.






Seriously, the fly-overs cost nothing in the grand scheme of things. Those planes would have in the air on one sortie or another and being diverted to a sporting event or some such thing as a good will gesture/recruiting tool is not a problem.
