Don't worry about the W. Keep your focus on the E because Boston's gonna steal the conference crown from LeBron & Company...

PRobably not

The Spurs will keep resting their players and rotating nights off for everyone young and old

GS seems obsessed with playing a double or triple overtime game every other day to stockpile regular season wins

Those guys will be dead at this pace by March

Probably not, unless Steph and guys like Klay and Green miss more games. Spurs care more about being rested and healthy for the playoffs anyway, they know they can beat the Warriors(or anybody else) on the road.

I guess that is balanced by all the rest the starters get in the 4th quarter during blowouts. I wouldn't hope for GS to be worn out come playoff time.

No.

But, only because they don't care enough to try.

Spurs are all about the FINALS.

Pop won't sacrifice his players health for the number one seed. If its there then its there.

Doubtful. Although GS has shown how fragile they can be when Curry gets hurt. He's not a big guy and everyone's gonna be coming at him and banging him around all season. So we'll see how they hold up as we get late into the season.

The Spurs will prob finish 3-4 games behind GS...and will be content with that.

agreed, but the OP can keep on rubbing his rabbit's foot...

guess he doesn't want any PART of Golden State in the finals...

Like they'll do so much better against San Antonio. His idol is screwed either way.

Hahaha. Typical from a fan of an old team by comparison.
But I think the point is GS can run all season without needing unofficial "nights off" and still play deep into the playoffs.
I seem to remember that even with all that "rest" the Spurs still ran outta gas last year...in April-was it? :D

And preparation differs for young & old. :thumb:

Thing is, I usually give the Spurs the benefit of the doubt - their track record speaks for themselves. However, Golden St. has proven themselves and their young. They're just as experienced now.

Golden State is relatively young and in their primes. These guys can ball all day and night. If your only hope is them running out of gas come playoff time, you're doomed.

What league were you watching??
The SPURS did not run out of gas at the end of the season.

They got beat. The Clippers were a shot better in the last 10 seconds with home court.
The SPurs were injured all season. They finally got healthy at the end.

They were the hottest team in the entire league in April (including their usual blowout victory over GSW).
They were on a 17-2 run at the end of the season to make a late push at a high seed.

Their low seed was due to a sluggish start in November-January and crippling 1st half injuries.
It had nothing to do with them running out of gas at the end.
