. . . he's 31 and doesn't have a proven track record to warrant a long term deal that pays him like a solid vet. I wouldn't mind signing him to a deal like we had with Josh Wilson. He'd be great as a vet who could backup younger players, but Scot isn't the type of guy who's going to sign anyone at his age and with his history to anything more than that.
