I love games like this, it’s old school football where it’s not all offense ! Then when a big offensive play happens it’s cool, you feel like they gotta earn it !!

I usually like defensive games (typically take the under) but this game just is not doing it for me.

I'll still watch but I hope it picks up.

Stroud has clearly regressed but it's not all his fault IMO. His OL isn't very good and his WR's are a MASH unit.....doesn't explain the bad throws and picks but I think he gets a pass this season after such a great rookie campaign. I don't think he has forgotten how to play football.

Now, next season if he struggles? Yeah, it's him.

The INT by Herbert may have kept the Texans in the game. Even going up 9-0 would have been huge with both offenses struggling.

Your assessment of the situation is accurate and reflects Texans fans.

Our play calling has been very predictable, our O-Line has been really poor and penalties!! So many drive killing penalties by our OLine they love to jump / hold.

so shroud has been doing the happy feet back there and his throwing and mechanics have suffered, and then decision making.
