My worst take of the week was that Miami and Baltimore wouldn’t hang. They didn’t finish but they really competed.

That can work when you’re inside the 10 or 5 not the 25.
well remember they were running up the middle then I would assume one Time out would be called.
but he bounced outside & got a 10 yd penalty to put them back there. Without that penalty. The Ravens would run out of plays before running out of time & way closer to the endzone. Think he was at the 13 yd line. Still would have had one timeout so the whole field was available for the touchdown or even 1st down. Dont think he was expecting a 1st & 20 instead.
Like I said I get what he was trying to do. Just because Collinsworth didnt understand doesnt mean it was a bad plan.

The clock management was a solid strategy.

Nobody really expects a holding call on a run play up the middle late in a game.
Those are rare enough on middle runs (almost never), and are even less called in the last 2 minutes.
But, the running back did some stupid impromptu juking off script to the outside.

That totally screwed up the clock management strategy.
Because it happened after they had already committed to it.

Despite that, They got the TD pass literally in the hands of a receiver as time expired in the end-zone, with no chance for Burrow to respond.
They were going for 2 all along. They wanted the 2 point to be the very last play tonight.

I dont know if they were gonna go for two. But was explaining the clock management on the other site as well.
If they used the timeouts early & did get a TD How many times we see Mahomes, Allen or Burrow use 26 seconds or so to get in FG range.
Think Harbaugh wanted as little time on the clock as possible when they scored a TD. If they didnt get the TD time didnt matter.
I completely understood what Harbaugh was doing even if Collinsworth didnt.
Run up the middle call time out & still have one so you could use the whole field to get in endzone. Not just endzone plays since you still had one timeout. They were gonna run out of plays before they ran out of time.

Now that's been taken care of. Where's our coin flip with the Bills for home field. What's that? No coin flip? Ok then.

Instead of the Bills fans having their heart broken in Cincy, it will be in their own house with Goodell watching. Looking forward towards the tears. Especially from the clown.

Weird flex when you needed a miracle to beat Lamar-less Ravens at home but you do you.

Bengals had like 235 yards to 360 or so for ravens. That Defensive TD was huge. They may have lost that game.

What bet?
Why do people have such a hard time accepting the niners are playing the best in the NFC right now? It's weird.
Purdy is playing as good as any QB in the playoffs so not sure what he meant by that.
