I agree about your thoughts on Tomlin, BUT he needs to put on the big boy pants and say, Ben, there's no reason risking your health....Have a seat!!!!

Let's face it, this team doesn't go anywhere is Ben, Bell, or AB gets hurt......

Exactly....live to play next week!

KC is a better team, but I think the Fins DL might be better than KC...if Gilbert can hold up against Justin Houston (who didn't play in the 1st matchup) I like their chances in KC.

And to top off the day....
Joey Porter got himself arrested outside a Pittsburgh bar last night....

thats our little joey ..god bless his idiotic soul..

What a shitshow... Porter posed his $25k bond early this morning and was released. Steelers have already bit the bullet hard and quick though. Placed Porter on leave to maximize separation from this distraction.

After doing a little digging I sort of figured out what happened. Apparently Porter arrived at the bar "The Flats" piss drunk and the bouncer refused his entry not only because he was inebriated, but also because the last time he was there he threatened to kill the guy. Joey proceeded to pick the bouncer up against a wall to threaten him. An off-duty police officer was nearby and witnessed the whole thing. Even tried to resolve the situation but Porter grabbed him by the wrists.

Final charges include:
Simple Assault
Aggravated Assault
Public Drunkenness
Resisting Arrest or other law enforcement
Disorderly Conduct (was 'terroristic threats' but was dropped)

Something to note here... If my sources are correct, aggravated assault is a 2nd degree felony in PA. He could face upwards of 10 years in prison for it.

Right? I loved the emotional leadership he brought to the sideline, but this is a completely unnecessary distraction at a very pivotal time in the season. If that is the type of dill-hole that he wants to be off the field when his players may or may not need his leadership on Sundays, then the Steelers are better off without him.

He let the team down.
