Doesn't matter what team you root for, how can you not love this guy?
Tommy Lasorda answers the question - YouTube
It does. 35th anniversary, I believe.
I just read your post. Either great minds think alike, or we both read Hardball Talk.
Or all of the above?
I like the ring of all of the above.
One of my main self-appointed functions on the main MLB board on CBS was to go and find all the interesting baseball stories I could find on any given day, and bring them to the board as their own stand alone threads.
The haters would complain about me being just a "cut and paste poster", whereas my few fans saw this for what it was intended, to make it easy to go to just 1 site, and see pretty much all items of baseball interest in one easy to locate place.
The Hardball Talk area of NBC sports is my new go to place for new info first, at least since the no fun police IT dept. here at work saw fit to block me from rotoworld.com.
So rather than talk about interesting subjects individually they wanted to spew drivel in one giant, schizoprhenic, clusterfuck of a thread? Brilliant...
Yeah when the first CBS wave came through here I recommended making multiple threads for the various subjects and got well thought out rebuttals such as "shut up faggot" and "how about you mind your business asshole". Compelling stuff.
PCness has runt the world.....
PS - And when are you new guys going to learn how to embed YouTube videos instead of just posting the link so I have to stop coming behind you and doing it for you???
Two words: Kurt Bevacqua
What in the wide world of bubblegum blowing made you think of Bevacqua?
Tommy's epic Bevacqua rant where he dropped the F-bomb 7,129 times.
I wonder if it was better than the Kingman one that is being celebrated today?

The YouTube video code is everything in the URL after the v=
Put that code between opening and closing [ youtube ] tags (without the space before and after the bracket.
