i do not like georgia mainly because of its fans... however i have more respect for richt after reading that than i did before i read it. id be thrilled if our coach were busted for showing that much compassion for his fellow coaches.

Anyway, that said I am more of a Richt fan today than I was before after hearing this. Sounds to me like he wanted his guys taken care of and when Georgia couldn't or wouldn't pony up, he did it himself.
Sounds like an outstanding boss to me.
