Always thought an Armed Forces Conference would be great, but that wouldn't work now would it?
Solidarity NOT "in competition" with each other...right?
Who would QB Marine U?
Is this fact I have been busy this morning and I can't find an article to confirm the OP?
Ok I'm a dumbass I read ACC instead of AAC trying to multi-task and failed miserably.
Thanks
My guess would be that scheduling their non-football sports has been such a pain they feel it is worth it. I can't imagine how difficult it is to schedule basketball, track, swimming, etc as an independent.

I think they can still play AF, ND, and Army every year (but no one else). So I'm guessing they'll make more money in conference than without. AAC might not have a huge media market but they still should get better tv deals than Navy gets as a stand alone.
