Of course not. But I was not crazy about Perez coming here either because of his mental issues in the past when pitching. But now I am glad to have the guy because he seems to be a completely different pitcher. The same thing is happening to me about Howard because I am with you guys that I did not want to see the him back at the MLB level earlier this year but whatever he is doing right now is working so I am more than happy to give him a shot back at the MLB level within the next month or so. He may come back up here and stink the place up but this is the time for us to do these things. And give him a few starts to see what we have.

Didn't realize that Gallo has struck out in 39.2% of his plate appearances. Needless to say the Yankees are looking for an outfielder at the trade deadline.

We have 27 games this month. What record over these 27 games tells management that this team is not ready to contend and we need to trade off a couple of veterans and go with youngsters? On the other hand which record tempts management into making a couple of acquisitions to help us push for the postseason this year.

If the Rangers sign Perez and sign or trade for another starter or two, there may not be room in next year's rotation for both Ragans and Howard. If Winn has begun to turn it around there wouldn't be room for either of Howard or Ragans in next year's rotation.

If Perez truly has turned the corner then I'd bring him back and not dip into free agency for a starter, bullpen yes though
