Rams games normally cost $30 or less on Stubhub. The cheapest I see there now is $120. It's great to be part of such a large and dedicated fanbase, but it also has its prices. And the worst part is that the reason it is so expensive is because for many Chicagoans, it is cheaper to go to St. Louis than watch them at Soldier Field.

My hunch is it'll likely be similar to a Chicago home game, but unless the prices go down a bit, it's a bit too much money for this diehard Bears fan. And I wonder how many non-diehards never see a Bears game or feel attached to the team because Soldier Field is such a small stadium (biggest one-city fanbase plus smallest stadium= Scary high prices).

Any thoughts?

Bears being such a old team that my great granddad listened on the radio with his son, my granddad who did the same with my dad who did the same with me, and now I do with my kids. Tradition class love of the game and all the great times spent watching with family over the years. Its in the bloodline. Not to mention all the great food we make every game. Most my best memorys come from the time spent with family watching Da Bears. Its the only time my family makes time to get together. My life is richer and its because of Da Bears.

Freaking Bears games are unaffordable now.

Seriously... it's unreal. 200 dollars per ticket for some of the worst seats in the house.

Yeah it was almost 100 just for a preseason game. Our tickets cost more than Packers games.

I have no doubt there will be 40-50% Bears fans in St. Louis. But we need to take advantage of that and get some momentum so they can be heard. Then St. Louis might get rattled by it.

To the OP, it is a long drive to St. Louis so time and gas makes it more expensive as well.

Yup. Before the franchise moved to St. Louis, and then to Phoenix. The Chicago Cardinals won a few titles. They were good. The Bidwell's bought the team in the 30's, I believe. The Bidwell who bought it was also the vice president of the Bears at the time.

Eventually, after suffering through the late 40's and 50's while the Bears became beloved after the Luckman/Hallas dynasty. The Bidwell family engineered a deal to move the Cardinals to St. Louis, and into the AFL.

My grandfather was a Chicago Cardinals fan, which before he passed, was something we used to joke about with him. A joke about his old age.

Three rows from the top, 260 for the pair, and it was the Lions game. But dude had season tickets and just got relocated to Dallas (what a miserable existence he has now), so he was dealing.

I live 2.5 hours east of St Louis around where Cutler is from and so I go to St Louis when the Steelers are in town every few years. It's always at least 60% annoying Steelers fans. I live 6 hours from Chicago and this is more Bears country than Rams/Titans/Bungals so like someone already said, expect at least 60+% Bears fans filling that place.

The city is all Bears fans. Seriously, they are a majority at all the restaurants and bars in my neighborhood. I've seen opposing fans invade Downtown Chicago, but i'm not Downtown. I've never seen anything like it as far away from a stadium and tourist central as I am.
