Players today make more money. There was a time when some pro football players held offseason jobs

Statistical average length of an NFL playing career 3.3 years....if they are smart they get out...one good contract your set for life... if your smart and not pissing the $$$ away on cars and jewelry a mansions... and if you did the 4 years in college and got a degree ..you'll land on your feet doing something you may even enjoy...
