you might be able to make this case against other teams but not cuse. this is not the first ive heard the "cuse has no size" argument and it never works cuz.....

1. on defense cuse plays zone which negates any size advantage an opposing team might have

2. syracuse recruits with size being our primary objective

Arizona has wins over two currently ranked teams. Neither of them at home. All Syracuse has is Baylor. Indiana could end up ranked eventually but they aren't right now.

It isn't a question of who get's the most #1 votes. That helps a lot, but the #1 team is the one with the most poll points. Right now Arizona has more poll points (by nearly 200... and more #1 votes for that matter) and you think something happened this week will change that in Cuse's favor? You think a win over North Binghamptonshire is going to get you to #1? Really? Seriously?

it used to be orangemen before they changed it to be gender neutral a few years ago. while they call him otto the orange he isnt a fruit. the mascot has fur on it for crying out loud.

had duke lost to zona this week ==> yeah you guys would be undisputed number 1.

however syracuse spent a week player bigger games that got a lot more media coveraged and looked very impressive dominating IU in a primetime slot. and zona's terrible showing against 3-4 UNLV is certainly not going to help.

and our quality win just beat the #3 team in the nation

theres no rule that says all the MSU votes have to vote for the #2 team. with a lot of sportswriters now having to decide who they think the new #1 team in the nation is. regardless of the polls right now a lot of people are thinking that syracuse is in fact the hottest team currently and i think that that will have an effect on the polls.

it will most likely be close. but IMO SU has the edge
