The Nats are going to be saved by their shitty division. I'd still call them the most disappointing so far.

Gotta be the Nationals. They were anointed in Spring Training.

Because Rock wanted to make this about the Red Sox. But a team that finished last last year, shouldn't be listed as a disappointment this year.
whats the payroll?

5 weeks in, who ya got?
It's only 5 weeks in but that's enough time to get an idea of who can play and who can't. Right now it seems quite obvious the Nats and Red Sox are not the teams they claimed to be. Both need to make changes and the Nats probably need the most help. The best thing the Sox have going for them is the fact their division sucks so they gotta figure they're gonna hang around no matter what. That won't get them far in Oct. so they need to quit acting as though all is well and it's early blah blah blah.

the division is what it is but we're talking about a team we were all told is going to win it all this yr. As they sit right now they have no chance and that has nothing to do with their division.

10 days ago, the same could have been said of the Giants. Now they are sitting in the #2 WC slot.

It is May 6, people...

Yep. It's not as if anyone lost 2-3 starters from their rotation already or something bizarre. Giants started hot, were terrible, then got hot again. Looooooooong season. I do have to say though, it's always nice to win in April and May- less wins you need in September.

Definitely better to get those wins in the bank early. That was how the Giants made it to the post season last year.

It has to be the Nationals.

Weren't they picked to go 162-0 and win their 3rd consecutive pre-season favorites World Series Title again?

No other team gets more media praise as a superteam every year than Washington.

But, there is still plenty of time for them to finally start living up to the hype (again).

I suspect Indians fans are pretty disappointed so far. They were picked to win the division by some sources. It's so early yet, though. Maybe they will.
