Out of these choices:

1) Brian Boucher
2) Jaroslav Halak
3) Mikael Samuelsson

I'm still going to go with Boucher. The guy had horrible #'s during the regular season, and only won 9 games. I don't think anyone would of predicted he would win 4 of 5 games to beat the Devils and have a 1.59 GAA and a .940 SV% in the process.

I'll go with Boucher as well.

Both of the others are doing great, but they had pretty good seasons.

Boucher hands down. Coming out of nowhere to outplay Brodeur.

Halak did this at the Olympics and Samuelsson has the experience with the Wings.

Yeah, I'd have to go with Boosh, too. After watching his struggles towards the end of the season (not that he was alone on the Flyers in that regard), I didn't expect him to play as well as he did. I thought going in that his numbers would end up somewhere around 2.50/.925, so he definitely exceeded my expectations.

I didn't even think his numbers would be that good. So yeah i'll go with Boosh too.

Boucher is my choice too.
I totally forgot about the guy. Did he remind about himself :)

I had Boucher until Halak's Game 6 performance. I'd say they're on equal ground now. Both teams should be very proud of their netminders.

Of the choices presented, gotta go with Boosh.

A write-in vote for Bob Cole, he actually has upped his play-by-play game for the playoffs, I think he's pissed by the treatment CBC is giving him...

Ill go Steve Bernier ... played a hard game coming off sports hernia surgery

he was on the verge of getting his 5th goal of the 1st round series on the Burrows empty netter in game 6 but instead watch what he does on the 2 on 1 (top of the screen-reason #64 why I love hockey)

btw ... the last time Burrows was on a 9 game goal scoring slump he scored an empty netter against Dallas January 2nd

he then went on to score 12 goals in his next 8 games

Ill stop short of !!!BOOKING IT!!! but watch for Burrows in the second round

///mybad for going off the board with my pick

If Bernier was from Kingston ... well ... we know ... we all would have seen and heard about Berniers gesture by now

I would say Boosh and Halak are neck and neck.

Boucher for sure. I thought he was garbage, and I thought Philly was ready to roll over and die this postseason. So they win both most surprising player and team, respectively.

Not surprised about Halak, or by extension, the Canadiens. I've watched Halak for a long time, saw him at the Olympics, and knew he had the potential to steal a few games. It's maybe surprising how well he's done it, but not that he's doing it.

If Halak were to knock off the number one seed, would that change any minds?

Not sure I like the choices. Boucher didn't exactly face an offensive juggernaut in the Devils..

I say it's Halak hands down.. of course me being a Caps fan has a lot to do with that.
