Don't really care too much about the name, but hoping it's defense. Ideally we fill our most glaring hole and draft a pass rusher, but would be equally excited with a DB. Any defender really and I'll be at least happy. Could still be a little happy with WR or an OL to fill the hole there. But the exact player??? Ask me after 27 have gone off the board. Kind of a waste of time to try to predict what every team before us is going to do and then who I want right now. But, i'll sure as heck have some names in mind in about 9 hours!!!

I have kind of soured on the Uconn safety.
I also am not going to be happy if we take a TE in the first 4 rounds. I would be OK wit one of the following at 28:
DE: Charlton,Harris,Watt, Mckinley,
DB: Adoree Jackson,Buda Baker.

Adoree Jackson would seem to be the one that would make the most impact from day 1. He is an elite returner and could easily be a two way player for us like Deion was. I also think Jackson will get better in coverage as he gets coached up

I think watt is going to be a great player.

Fine by me. Adoree Jackson might be my second favorite player in this draft, behind Derek Barnett. I have been viewing Jackson as a 2nd round target, but I'm probably way off on that. Having Jackson would instantly give Dallas one of the better kick returners in football.

That said, TJ Watt is who I think Dallas needs at #28.

Kevin King would be a nice consolation prize.

Gonna be hard for Dallas to screw this one up, I think. So much defensive talent.

I agree. It will be interesting to see who slips. I'm holding out hope the Alabama corner gets to 28.

I don't think Humphrey makes it out of the top 20, especially with Conley being under investigation. I'd be all over Humphrey if he was available. Haven't allowed myself to even consider it.

I really don't factor in Adoree's kick return ability, if he's starting at corner he should not be returning kicks. Way too risky.

he's a corner in training from what I saw. Not sure he grabs a stating corner job from the start.
I'll trust the cowboys here but I'd expect his biggest impact in the 1st year to be returner

Watt is my DE pick but I think he is long gone
Conley is the CB that might be available with the best talent.

Time to Shine Will McClay the night will be Jerry's and the Picks but your work is like the sanding that goes in before the custom Paint Job is applied just as important but not in the headlines till the Paint has dried and the car has won best of Show.

That is kind of wondering what I was thinking with him. Not the end of the World if he doesn't start year 1 of course, but I think some of the other DBs are more likely to walk in as day one starters
