Rodgers will be the best QB on the field that day. Seattle will be the most complete team. It's at home. Why wouldn't people pick Seattle?

More important question is, how much will the Niners beat Dallas by?

IDK. It may be a rough start for SF without Smith and Bowman. Romo will find way to give it to the niners though.

I hate Seattle and I picked them.

Why? Because it's obvious.

I never meant to say Seattle D is not elite. What I meant is an elite 100% GB squad vs an elite 100% Seattle squad would result in a GB victory. Was in no way trying to belittle Seattle.
Then I guess we all misinterpreted this:

Seattle fans base their whole perception of Green Bay off of the fail Mary game. You guys act as if Russell Wilson is elite or something. He's not. I love Wilson and root for the badgers but the only reason Seattle beat GB is the replacement refs. Seattle is a good team but when both teams are healthy, Green Bay is elite and Seattle is not.

Everyone hops on the SB winning team's bandwagon the year after they win it. I was expecting Seattle to win the poll mainly because they just won the SB combined with the amount of SEA fans on this site. If this same poll is on ESPN.com I guarantee its not a 3-1 ratio favoring Seattle.

It would be 70-30 except the state of Wisconsin.

There are literally 5-6 teams that would be picked over the Packers too.

Seahawks
49ers
Broncos
Patriots

If both teams are 100% healthy, I'm not sure the Packers could beat the Cowboys, let alone the Seahawks. The Packers haven't been any more banged up than Dallas the last few years. Either way, the Packers aren't the best team in the NFC. The Seahawks, Niner's, Saints and Eagles are all better, and Detroit, Dallas, Chicago, NY and Carolina are just as talented

So basically what you're implying here is that the GB offense is head and shoulders above the Bronco's offense from last year. That Bronco's offense put up number never seen before in football. If GB is better than them if completely healthy, then they'll probably go 16-0 with a 20+ point avg. margin of victory. Is that what you're trying to tell us?

Haven't the Packers destroyed the cowgirls the last few times we played y'all?

GB has beat Dallas three straight games by an average of 16 a game...

Seattle… Simple fact that they are the more rounded team. GB may have the better QB & WR's, but that won't cover up for their defense. Packers D has been around the bottom of the league the past 2 seasons.

I thought people would have learned from the last Superbowl that offensive power doesn't win championships, especially against the Seattle D.

Cobb, Nelson, Jones & Finley is about the same as Thomas, Decker, Welker & J. Thomas.

The lack of respect by the gb guy for what Seattle JUST did vs Peyton Manning an equally HOF'y qb who was leading the best offense statistically of all time is alarming.

Another stat that wasn't mentioned. Seattles D OUT SCORED Denvers O.......

But Manning did not match up well against Seattle's style of defense. Manning also threw ducks, not so much being this great hail mary passer, Rodgers is younger and more mobile and Brees did start lighting them up in the second half. Manning also is not used to playing top defenses now because the AFC has become awful.

I'm not clear on which team you picked.

Both teams are 100% healthy

I think it would come down to home field advantage......Each would win on their turf, but on a neutral setting, I'd have to go with GB, I think they are a better road team if my memory serves me correctly....
Both good teams, and although Wilson has been outstanding, I'm thinkin' Arod has a big advantage in a game like that....Too good, too seasoned, too far ahead....

Weak argument, and Seattle went 6-2 last year on the road.

Hard to defend their road record when it's just one season. Their defense took a huge leap last year with Bennett and Avril and the continued maturing of that secondary which lead to a 6-2 road record with the only losses at Colts and at SF, both by one score. The year before they lost 6 and only won 2 so it's easy to see why people are hung up on that. They also had that tough loss at Atlanta in the playoffs that season.

If people want to stay hung up on their road issues let them.

Dallas will shock alot of people this year. Look for Weeden to make a difference on the field.
