I know I know, it's too early, free agency isn't done, we still have the draft, the schedules haven't been released. Who cares. Make your pick

If the Chiefs stink, probably the Raiders.

If the Chiefs field something formidable, I think anyone can win it.

I lean Chargers but all four teams are legit and I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Gun to my head at this point:

1. Chargers
2. Broncos
3. Chiefs
4. Raiders

I don't really get the Derek Carr negativity. I can se McDaniel being a bit of an unknown but I think Carr is every bit as good as the current Russell Wilson and the Raiders being a legit threat if the bounces go right. The Chiefs will be the favorite right up to the minute that they aren't but any one of the 4 teams could come out of this div on top.

Massive amount of upheaval in the AFC West this year to really know. Still have the draft to get through and then, there are the INJURIES. How will the new coaching staff do in Denver? Unknown. How will the new coaching staff do in Vegas? Unknown. What impact will losing Hill have on the Chiefs? Unknown. Is Russell Wilson still in his prime? Unknown but his last couple of years in Seattle seemed to show some regression.

New pass rushers, QB, receivers, cornerbacks, etc. Can't really look at past years to project this year's outcome. One of more of these teams may regret their aggression in the off season but which one? What I do know is that the Chargers look to be the most steady from last year and arguably improved AND the Chiefs still have Mahomes. Like many have said, it's impossible to predict. That fact is going to make 2022 one of the funnest seasons in recent history!

Im a bit confused here, too, because the Raiders made the playoffs last year and they got the best WR in football in FA.

As am I. I just keep reading and hearing that Carr isn't good enough but I don't buy it. And they also made the playoffs after a shitload of in house turmoil that might have sunk many teams. He beat the Chargers when he needed to the last week of the season and kept that team going. As I said, he's as good as Wilson. Other things might hurt the Raiders chances but it won't be Carr.

I was thinking the Chargers but we already witnessed Staley coach himself out of a playoff spot.

I think Carr is pretty clearly the 4th best qb in the division.

I think the Chiefs but as a side note, the fans will win because all the AFCW divisional rival games are gonna have the aura of playoff feel to them, should be exciting.

Agreed, but he might also have the best surrounding talent on offense
