We better be prepared for a way more difficult matchup at Mich State than we saw this weekend in Lincoln.

Our Offensive Line is going to have to play 10 times harder or Taylor is gonna turn it over 4 times.......

And if that happens, they'll get enough out of L. Bell to knock us out.

Mich St is the most complete D the Huskers will face prior to whatever bowl NU goes to. Everyone else has a weakness. Not Mich St...

BTW NU is bowl eligible as of last night.

By the way, to the OP, we have a long road to get to the Rose Bowl..........long road. Gotta win 5 more in a row still.

We've strung together 2 in a row somehow.......amazing to see that happen. But we are still a Bo Pelini coached football team, and Bo Pelini coached football teams never cease to amaze me.

I'm very optimistic and excited about our chances, but the team has to DO WORK! This is no time to get comfortable now. There is a TON of work left to do.

With all of that said, there is seriously a good chance that an undefeated Oregon may be in our foreseeable future......

"IF" NU can run the table (0 loses) and get to the Rose I wouldn't mind them playing an undefeated Oregon.

If NU loses another one and still manages to get to the Rose Bowl with 3 losses. I don't want them to have to play Oregon.

Rose Bowl isn't obligated to take anyone from the same Conference if the Conference Champ is in the BCS Championship game......

They can take whoever they want at that point. It's just that they often do take the #2 team from the Conference.

If Alabama and Oregon go to the NCG

The Sugar Bowl gets first pick of At Large teams.
The Rose Bowl will get second pick of At Large teams.

If K. State holds on to the Big XII they are obligated to be the Host Team in the Fiesta.

The question would be if the Sugar and Rose will homer their picks to the SEC and PAC 2nd best or take a highly ranked Notre Dame.

Notre dame will put butts in seats and sell out hotels with the best of them.

Remember..All the bowl committees care about is sales and exposure..
