I'm interested in seeing who everyone thinks will be a surprise team in 2015. In my opinion the biggest surprise team in 2015 will be the Minnesota Vikings. I think Teddy Bridgwater will be even better this year, Adrian Peterson returns, the offensive line should be improved and the defense has lots of talent

I can't take Minny seriously as a surprise team when seemingly everyone picks them. Only reason I won't put their name into consideration. Panthers will be a lot better than people think though, imo.

Buffalo. They have the defense and offensive weapons add Tyrod Taylor that can avoid the rush and create some plays. Shady will take the pressure off of him.

Buffalo and Miami fight for the AFCE crown.

Not sure it is a huge surprise but I could see Atlanta bouncing back.

I don't think there's such a thing anymore. With a dedicated 24 hour network, tons of NFL sites, countless NFL shows on multiple networks, every pre-season game on TV, I just don't think there's much information out there that we haven't come across. It's similar to sleepers in fantasy. They just don't really exist anymore -- we know about the 6th WR on every team.

Surprise team can go both ways.

I can see Seattle and Indy taking a step back this year.

But that doesn't really make any sense. Yes, we have all that knowledge and that knowledge helps us form an opinion on how we think a team will do. So when everyone else thinks a team will have 6 wins and you think they will have 10 it's a surprise from that point of view...It doesn't mean you that don't know about a team.

Sure, some will over or under-perform, but every team is talked about ad nauseum and pretty much every "surprise" team is going to be picked as a surprise team by lots of people, making it much less of a surprise.

If the Broncos yield fewer than 20 points per game -- and I think they have a legitimate shot at doing so -- then I suspect they will surprise some folks.

Not sure surprise teams are a thing anymore unless someone like the Redskins goes 13-3

It's our operation possum strategy. SB baby! Not.
