Thats why i said it was unfair. Melo really has never had help. Durant has Westbrook.
LeBron needs at least as many as Kobe for his credibility to match his mouth.
Exactly. I love basketball and it annoys me that some on here only want to spend their posting time crying over LBJ instead of talking about the game we all love
Now as far as Durant, what is happening now is a prime example of why superstars often don't want to be tied down to small market teams.
The loss of Harden over a few million dollars is probably the difference between then at leeast reaching the Finals vs losing in round 2.
Bill Simmons crunched the numbers. The owner was being very cheap...OKC is very lucrative. This has more to do with the team undervaluing Harden and overvaluing IbakaA bigger market team never would have let Harden leave.
Maybe but Im not sure its that much of a factor when they match up with Memphis. Reggie Jackson has been VERY efficient, OKC is certainly beating Memphis on fast break points and OKC is playing big. Im not sure the result of a series with Memphis would be much different with Westbrook. But who knows?I think losing Westbrook during the playoffs is a much bigger factor than not having Harden whom they haven't had all season long.

I do agree that if OKC was a big market team they probably keep Harden along with Ibaka. OKC pretty much had to decide between Ibaka and Harden because signing both longterm would put them too high into the luxury tax for a small market team to afford. A large market team would probably have signed them both.
D Howard has had his credibility tainted the most so him. He got to the Finals on a fluskishly hot 3pt shooting team that didn't have to play the Celtics with KG. And right now people are seriously questioning every aspect of Howard's game. And as much of a factor that rings are for other positions, rings are everything when it comes to Centers
The Magic shot about 36% as a team from deep during those playoffs. Very good but not quite freakishly hot. I don't get why people don't give Howard any credit for leading that team to the Finals. He only led the Magic in PPG, PER, DRtg, OWS, DWS, Total WS.
